THE PROJECT

Part of an infrastructure project to protect homes from floodwaters during high tide, the Patterson River Tidal Gates were removed, replaced and upgraded.

The majority of our works had us working 6 metres below sea level, our OHS department and engineers devised methods to ensure the safety of our workers at all times.

Works performed by TDK included the installation of a new concrete raft 1800mm thick with 30t of steel, we also built access tracks and paths and installed 22t watertight steel gates within a 2mm tolerance.
