In 2008 the affluent Melbourne suburb of Camberwell added a new shopping precinct ‘The Well’.
The Well was constructed in a car park behind the existing shops on Burke Road,
TDK were engaged to carry out the demolition of a commercial building and construct the new architecturally designed walkway allowing access to the precinct.
TDK carried out the following works:
- Service upgrades
- Drainage
- Retaining walls
- Footings
- Bluestone paving
- Landscaping
The main feature of the entrance to the precinct is a steel framed, glass roof structure that TDK constructed.
The Well and the new walkway were officially opened in November 2008 by former
treasurer Mr Peter Costello.
