TDK Civil worked on Australia’s largest tertiary institution (RMIT) building a fibre link between various CBD campus buildings.
Works involved trenching (including saw cutting and hydraulic hammering) down the busy CBD streets of Victoria Street and Swanston Street, alongside and under a myriad of existing services and obstacles including the tram tracks.
We installed conduits and pits, provided traffic management for trams, cars and pedestrians throughout the day and also undertook night works to minimise disruption to the CBD.
Public safety was a high priority working in such busy locations, both temporary and permanent reinstatement of all work sites were performed with the utmost attention to detail.
